Exterior is exactly 15" wide making for a snug fit of my 14 1/8" laptop. This snug fit was what I was looking for. Any tighter and it wouldn't fit at all. The material is of good quality and the lining is soft. The padding is minimal but should be adequate for everyday use. First impressions are this is a very good quality sleeve. Time will tell.

The front pocket holds the power brick and a small mouse, and a bit more space for flash drive or similar.
