This book is very helpful and I definitely recommend it as a resource. It simplifies complex concepts and is organized by body system. It highlights the major health conditions in each body system and provides a simple and concise explanation. At the end of every concept a mini quiz is offered to test comprehension. It's good but Leik is better

This is a fairly good review book for the FNP exam and I've had professors recommend it's use. However, the review book by Leik is better in that it delivers information in a short-and-sweet way that still covers the most crucial information. Fitzgerald requires a little more reading and unfortunately I just don't have the attention span for that anymore. I need short paragraphs, bullet points, and the most crucial information that will give me success for the FNP exam and Leik provides that a little more than this.
