This is a great modern version of the New Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and Song of Songs. After buying one for myself, I bought one for a friend. She and I both love using it for Bible study. I plan to buy the Old Testament books they have versions for as well. I include a photo of a portion of 1 Corinthians 13, so you can see how it compares to other versions. Also, at the beginning of each book, there is an at-a-glance section, about section and a couple more pages with info about the book and context. There are notes at the bottom of each page to show similar translations for the words or an explanation of what its context is.

I'm a regular bible reader. Through this Bible, God was able to blow my mind and bring me to tears multiple times. My husband and I open it to Ephesians 1:1 and read 3 chapters. If you're on the fence about getting it, please get it. You will not regret it. It's worth it. It's also very good quality but I didn't care about that. I care about it speaking straight to your heart and soul.
